Salary: $32.62 to $35.81 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 60 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Documentation knowledge:Â bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports
Type of trucking and equipment:Â Flatbed
Communication systems experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
Transportation/travel experience:Â Provincial/territorial
Own tools/equipment:Â Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials:Â AZ class license, Working at heights training, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, and Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
Security and safety:Â Bondable, Driver’s validity licence check, and Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have attention to detail, be willing to work overtime as required, and be able to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, and be flexible
- The candidates should have good judgment, be organized, reliable, and a team player, as well as hardworking and patient
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, and address customers’ complaints or concerns with professionalism in customer service
- The candidates should be able to load and unload goods efficiently, oversee the condition of the vehicle, and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, oversee all aspects of the vehicle, receive and relay information to central dispatch promptly, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
