Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register and point of sale system
Credentials: Serving It Right Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure
- The candidates should be physically capable of handling demanding tasks, including weight handling up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and capable of handling weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

- The candidates should be focused on client satisfaction and demonstrate flexibility in their approach to work
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and be reliable in meeting deadlines and commitments
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication abilities and be team players, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- The candidates should show initiative in their tasks and responsibilities and be organized in their work habits
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to mix and serve alcoholic beverages while adhering to legal age requirements and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to ensure compliance
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns promptly and effectively and provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall dining experience
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in various forms including cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings, and balance cash and accurately record sales transactions
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers in a clear and enticing manner and advise customers on menu selections based on their preferences and dietary restrictions
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs efficiently to maintain a clean dining environment and supervise other servers and bussing staff to ensure smooth operations
- The candidates should be able to describe and advise on wine selection to enhance the dining experience and order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware to ensure availability
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons warmly, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages, and assist clients/guests with special needs to accommodate their requirements
- The candidates should be able to perform sensory evaluation of wines to assess quality and flavor profiles and serve food and beverages with attention to presentation and customer satisfaction
- The candidates should be able to take orders accurately and relay them to kitchen and bar staff in a timely manner and provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall dining experience
