Established in 1977, Vera’s Burger Shack has grown to several locations in BC and Ontario, with plans to expand further into Alberta. Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, describe menu items including daily specials, and advise on menu selections
The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, answer questions regarding food and beverages, and describe and advise on wine selection
The candidates should be able to order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware, perform sensory evaluations of wines, and take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers’ cheques, or room billings, and serve food and beverages
