Salary: $15.00 to $17.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 48 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Training and professional development
Computer and technology knowledge: Aloha Point of Sale (POS), Electronic cash register, and Point of sale system
Own tools/equipment: Uniform
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Food and Beverage Server Training, Food Safety Certificate, and Safe Food Handling certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication abilities and exhibit flexibility
- The candidates should show initiative and be organized
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages and address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, present bills to customers, and accept payment in various forms
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items including daily specials, enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and advise on menu selections
- The candidates should be able to balance cash and record sales, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and describe and advise on wine selection
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages, order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware, and perform sensory evaluation of wines
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, supervise other servers and bussing staff, and take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
- The candidates should be able to schedule staff, train staff, assist clients/guests with special needs, and provide customer service
