Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be client focus, organized, initiative, flexible, and reliable
  • The candidates should be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables
  • The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
  • The candidates should be able to describe menu items including daily specials for customers, advise on menu selections
  • The candidates should be able to balance cash and record sales, clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
  • The candidates should be able to describe and advise on wine selection, take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff, serve food and beverages
  • The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs, provide customer service
