Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Conventional oven, electronic cash register, and food dispensers
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong client focus and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- The candidates should be able to package take-out food and portion and wrap foods.
- The candidates should be able to prepare, heat, and finish simple food items and serve customers at counters or buffet tables
- The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars and take customers’ orders
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and remove kitchen garbage and trash
