Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Gloves and Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in fruit and vegetable combination farming, experience in other grain farming, and experience in other miscellaneous animal farming
- The candidates should be able to work outdoors, in wet/damp conditions, and independently
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and work under pressure
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, meet tight deadlines, and perform physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should have manual dexterity, good hand-eye coordination, and be able to distinguish between colours
- The candidates should have attention to detail, be able to stand for extended periods, and bend, crouch, and kneel
- The candidates should be able to manage a large workload, have sound discrimination skills, and work overtime when required
- The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods, combine sitting, standing, and walking, and walk for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs), work in dangerous environments, and work with odours
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty conditions, hot environments, noisy environments, and cold/refrigerated environments
- The candidates should be able to work in all weather conditions and dirty conditions
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to apply the technique of hoeing between the row, clean the crops, clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas, and clear fields of wood and stones
- The candidates should be able to cut agricultural crops, cut agricultural seed according to farm standards, divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots, and dose water saturation, light and temperature as instructed for crop growth and development
- The candidates should be able to grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, colour, and volume to fetch high price in market, guide growing shoots into optimal development positions, and hand harvest vegetables
- The candidates should be able to monitor animal health, pack fruits and vegetables, pick row and orchard crops, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and remove manually all suckers and water sprouts
- The candidates should be able to cut seeds, shear and shape trees and plants with a knife, sort fruits and vegetables, tie and secure plants, and train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality
- The candidates should be able to weed, write daily basic progress reports, clean work area, and harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry, clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens, detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry, and examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
