Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in wet/damp conditions, be able to work in a dusty and fast-paced environment, and capable of working effectively under pressure
- The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks, be physically fit for demanding tasks, and comfortable sitting for extended periods while switching between sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, be comfortable with walking, and able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed, as well as lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be a strong team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform clipping, lower plants, and mix fertilizer
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, implement soil fertility programs, and perform weeding
- The candidates should be able to fertilize and spray crops and harvest crops
