Salary: $17.48 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Oliver, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Early Morning, Morning
Type of crops: Apples, bell peppers, cherries, cucumbers, and melons
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, handle physically demanding work, and distinguish between colours
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas, remove manually all suckers and water sprouts, and tie and secure plants
- The candidates should be able to train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality, perform weeding, and cut horticultural crops
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
