Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck, Fertilizer applicator, Fruit harvester, Sprayer or duster, Tractor
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be experienced in fruit and vegetable combination farming
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty environments as part of their responsibilities
- The candidates should be capable of handling repetitive tasks efficiently and be physically fit for demanding tasks
- The candidates should demonstrate keen attention to detail and have the ability to distinguish between colors
- The candidates should be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday, and be comfortable standing for extended periods when required
- The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to hoe crops, engage in weeding, and fertilize and spray crops
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, as well as harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry, and examine produce for quality, preparing it for the market
