Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to perform repetitive tasks, and capable of handling heavy loads
  • The candidates should be able to manage physically demanding tasks, have manual dexterity, and possess good hand-eye coordination
  • The candidates should be able to distinguish between colours, possess attention to detail, and be comfortable standing for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling, manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and walk for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be flexible, have good judgement, be reliable, and work well as a team player

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas, clear fields of wood and stones, and pick row and orchard crops
  • The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, tie and secure plants, and train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality
  • The candidates should be able to harvest crops, detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry, and examine product for quality and its readiness for the market

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
