Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Construction specialization: Industrial, Commercial and Institutional, Residential, underground and tunnel work, Water mains, Poured concrete, Irrigation and drainage
Credentials: Tools, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, cellular phone, safety vest, rain gear
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and be able to work in noisy and dusty conditions
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and capable of meeting tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and handle heavy loads
- The candidates should possess good hand-eye coordination and be willing to work overtime when required
- The candidates should have experience in weight handling, up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, perform pre-operational inspections, and read blueprints to determine work requirements
- The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, instruct apprentices, and mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
- The candidates should be able to assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, level earth to fine grade specifications, and pave and rake asphalt
- The candidates should be able to assist in demolishing buildings, clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and direct traffic at or near construction sites
