Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials
- The candidates should be able to operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials
- The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
- The candidates should be able to assist the medical examiner in charge
- The candidates should be able to assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
- The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
- The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials, perform routine maintenance work, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints
