FROESE BROS FARMS INC. is a leading provider in grain and forage harvesting services to producers, cattle feeders, and dairymen across the great plains. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Automated systems experience: Manure handling and storage, Egg gathering system
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive taskers
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to work in wet/damp areas, in odors, in outdoors, in hot areas, in beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, chicken farming, livestock combination farming, and other poultry farming
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be flexible and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to feed and tend animals, clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
- The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry, examine produce for quality and prepare for market
- The candidates should be able to write daily basic progress reports, set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
