Salary: $18.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, handle repetitive tasks, and be attentive to detail
  • The candidates should be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking and have strong hand-eye coordination

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and fertilize and spray crops
  • The candidates should be able to harvest crops, hand-harvest vegetables, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry, and examine products for quality and readiness for the market
  • The candidates should be able to set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
