Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Automated irrigation system and Tractor
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and manage physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks, have attention to detail, and be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and manage a large workload
- The candidates should have good hand-eye coordination, be able to work overtime as required, and distinguish between colors
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, walk, and be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be experienced in weight handling and be able to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

- The candidates should be team players and reliable
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to fetch a high price in the market, and divide freshly harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
- The candidates should be able to perform greenhouse cleaning, clean the work area, and clean the crops
- The candidates should be able to mix fertilizer, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and fertilize and spray crops
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, hand harvest vegetables, and harvest seedlings
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry, and guide growing shoots into optimal development positions
- The candidates should be able to remove manually all suckers and water sprouts, and cultivate on a vertical farming system
