Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Automated systems experience: Automated irrigation system, Manure handling and storage, and Storage and silage system
Equipment and machinery experience: Turf grass harvester, Farm truck, Forklift, Loader, Tractor, Combine harvester, Fertilizer applicator, Haying equipment, Lift truck, Manure spreader, Planting equipment, Sprayer or duster, and Hand tools
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in hay farming and be knowledgeable in sheep farming
- The candidates should be able to work independently and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be capable of efficiently performing repetitive tasks and excel at working under pressure
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads safely and be adept at meeting tight deadlines
- The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks and possess manual dexterity
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be prepared for a large workload and have sound discrimination abilities
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required and be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) when necessary

- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrate flexibility in their approach to work
- The candidates should exhibit sound judgment in decision-making and be organized in their tasks and responsibilities
- The candidates should display reliability in their work and commitments, upholding strong values and ethics in their work practices
- The candidates should be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others, and be quick learners, able to adapt to new tasks and concepts rapidly

- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to groom farm animals and monitor animal health
- The candidates should be able to harvest seedlings and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to hoe crops and implement soil fertility programs
- The candidates should be able to mix fertilizer and fertilize and spray crops
- The candidates should be able to tie and load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry
- The candidates should be able to write daily basic progress reports and clean the work area
- The candidates should be able to cut seeds and harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to feed and tend animals and clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment and set and monitor water lines, airflow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
- The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry and examine produce for quality and prepare it for the market
