Shifts: Overtime, On Call
Work setting: Rural area
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Equipment and machinery experience: Tractor, Vegetable harvester, Planting equipment, Tillage equipment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with fruit and vegetable combination farming and willing to work outdoors
- The candidates should be able to tolerate dusty and noisy environments, as well as capable of working in cold or refrigerated conditions
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work and be willing to work overtime when required to meet project deadlines
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, as well as harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and examine products for quality and readiness for the market
