Salary: $17.40 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week

Location: Chilliwack, BC
Shifts: Day, Weekend
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Type of crops: Blueberries, Zucchinis, and Vegetables

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work independently and perform repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to demonstrate manual dexterity and stand for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel and work overtime when required
• The candidates should be able to sit and walk

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be flexible, reliable, and a team player
• The candidates should be quick learners

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to apply the technique of hoeing between the row and grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market
• The candidates should be able to hand harvest vegetables and weed
• The candidates should be able to harvest crops and cut horticultural crops
