Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm Truck, Tractor, Vegetable Harvester, Fertilizer Applicator, Lift Truck, And Planting Equipment

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks and work under pressure
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding activities and demonstrate hand-eye coordination
• The candidates should be able to distinguish between colours and pay attention to detail and stand for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel and make sound discrimination and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should be able to walk

Other Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to apply the technique of hoeing between the row and divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
• The candidates should be able to write daily basic progress reports and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment and examine product for quality and its readiness for the market

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
