Salary: $18.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Work setting: Staff accommodation available, Staff accommodation provided, and Relocation costs not covered by employer
Type of crops: Apples, Artisanal crops, Bell peppers, Garlic, Grapes
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Fruit harvester, Loader, Tractor, Fertilizer applicator, Planting equipment, Sprayer or duster
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be willing to work in organic farming environments and be comfortable working outdoors as required by the job duties
- The candidates should be able to work in wet or damp conditions as necessary and be prepared to work in dusty environments as part of the job requirements
- The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately and be able to stand for extended periods as necessary for the job duties
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as required by the job and be willing to work overtime as needed to meet job demands

- The candidates should be cooperative and effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bud trees and clean crops
- The candidates should be able to cut horticultural crops and perform deleafing
- The candidates should be able to grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, color, and volume to fetch a high price in the market, and guide growing shoots into optimal development positions
- The candidates should be able to level earth to fine-grade specifications and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to manually remove all suckers and water sprouts and perform seed cutting
- The candidates should be able to tie and secure plants and perform weeding.
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to examine products for quality and readiness for the market
