Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and handle physically demanding work
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate hand-eye coordination, pay attention to detail, and stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, kneel, sit, and manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and perform walking tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills and be flexible
- The candidates should be reliable and a team player
- The candidates should be a quick learner
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in the market, perform greenhouse cleaning, and plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to remove manually all suckers and water sprouts, harvest crops, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to cut horticultural crops
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
