Salary: $15.83 hourly for 40 hours per 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment, Full time
Location: Blenheim, ON
Transportation information: The candidates should have own transportation
Work setting: Rural are, various locations
Type of crops: Tomatoes
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provide
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in outdoors, dangerous, wet/damp, noisy, odours, dusty, cold and hot areas.
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker.
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines with attention to detail.
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle hand-eye co-ordination, and be able to distinguish between colours.
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be flexible, judgmental, and be able to work as a team player.
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to hand harvesting vegetables, Hoe crops, plant, cultivate, harvest and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to to pick up stones or woods from the field.
- The candidates should be able to do vegetable culling
