Job Description:

Salary: $21.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Abbotsford, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and Safety glasses/goggles

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and managing physically demanding work
• The candidates should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and possess hand-eye coordination
• The candidates should be prepared for a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday, able to work effectively under pressure
• The candidates should be comfortable working in dusty and noisy environments and willing to work at heights, able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate punctuality and exhibit flexibility in their work schedule and tasks
• The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities and be effective team players

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should check, weigh, sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products
• The candidates should assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers, performing other laboring and elemental activities as required
• The candidates should clean machines and immediate work areas
