Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to safely operate a variety of tools and equipment related to general maintenance
- The candidates should have the ability to work in a team environment, accept and follow verbal and written instructions, and complete duties as assigned to an acceptable standard with minimal supervision
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should follow all City of Brantford Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and and abilities to perform the duties listed above
- The candidates should have a valid “G” Ontario Driver’s License in good standing during the course of employment
- The candidates should have CSA-approved steel-toed boots, as they are required for this position and aware that interviews will commence in January 2024
- The candidates should have a valid First Aid Certificate with level “C” CPR, which is mandatory for this seasonal position and must be submitted with the application
- The candidates should submit a current Police Information Check (dated within the past 3 months) from their local police service for approval by the Corporation prior to commencing employment
