Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of High School
Experience: Candidates should have retail experience, including cash handling
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically fit individuals capable of lifting heavy objects, as this position involves a lot of lifting
- The candidates should have the physical stamina and strength to complete all tasks
- The candidates should be comfortable working on their feet in the store for long periods of time
- The candidates should be capable of lifting and moving boxes and products weighing up to 75 lbs
- The candidates should be able to sell alcohol in the province of British Columbia, and must be at least 19 years old
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be computer literate
- The candidates should be able to complete a retail training checklist and demonstrate knowledge of all Panorama products and services
- The candidates should be able to operate a computer POS system and all related procedures
- The candidates should be able to learn and demonstrate knowledge of sales training and related steps
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform fast, accurate, and friendly cashiering and collection of money tendered
- The candidates should be able to maintain the store and products in a clean, orderly fashion for presentation to guests, including marking all food and sundry items with appropriate prices and stocking shelves, rotating perishables, and maintaining inventory control systems
- The candidates should be able to continually strive to exceed guests’ expectations and provide immediate response to product and service shortfalls
- The candidates should be able to perform daily operational routines and all related procedures, such as merchandising, restocking, and completing cleanliness checklists
- The candidates should be able to contribute to the positive growth of Panorama through suggestions and functions, adhering to all security procedures involving cash handling, theft, liability and premises
