Salary: $24.00 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Opaskwayak, MB
Work setting: Staff accommodation available and Rural area
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in oilseed (except soybean) farming, managing the cultivation of various oilseed crops
- The candidates should be familiar with wheat farming, demonstrating expertise in the cultivation and management of wheat crops
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be team players, fostering effective collaboration and contributing positively to group dynamics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to fertilize and spray crops
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties
- The candidates should be physically fit, as the job involves physically demanding tasks that require strength and endurance
