Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs), 13.5 kg (30 lbs), and 9 kg (20 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy area, odours, and dusty area
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to record manufacturing information such as quantity, size and type of goods produced
- The candidates should be able to operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish
- The candidates should be able to perform ongoing machine adjustments
- The candidates should be able to read blueprint, schemas and drawings
- The candidates should be able to operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications
