Shifts: Day, Morning
Work setting: Rural area, Remote location, Willing to relocate, Staff accommodation available, and Room and board provided
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Specialization or Experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be willing to work outdoors
- The candidates should be able to tolerate odors
- The candidates should be comfortable with dusty environments
- The candidates should have experience in other miscellaneous crop farming
- The candidates should have experience in fruit and vegetable combination farming
- The candidates should have experience in farming other vegetables and melons (except potatoes)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bud trees
- The candidates should be able to clean crops
- The candidates should be able to clip plants
- The candidates should be able to clean greenhouses
- The candidates should be able to clean work areas
- The candidates should be able to sort and pack fruits and vegetables
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
