Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to zone the department
- The candidates should be able to rotate stock and check for expired products
- The candidates should be able to ensure that the merchandise is properly signed and priced
- The candidates should be able to adhere to food safety and handling procedures and follow sanitation and cleaning procedures
- The candidates should be able to follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels
- The candidates should be able to ensure that the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business
- The candidates should be able to follow Health and Safety guidelines
- The candidates should be able to stock merchandise/pick items and downstock if applicable
- The candidates should be able to apply product protection when required.
- The candidates should be able to set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and set new shelf caps
