Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Computer and technology knowledge: Candidates must have knowledge of Electronic cash register
Interac machine and computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering system
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handle heavy loads, pay attention to detail, stand for extended periods and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be a combination of sitting, standing, walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment
- The candidate should be punctual and a team player
- The candidate should have accuracy and also an excellent oral communication
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to operate cash register, process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments, tabulate total payment for goods or services required, receive payment for goods or services and also calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
- The candidate should be able to scan items, stock shelves and clean counter area, accept reservations or take-out orders, wrap or place merchandise in bags and also weigh produce and bulk foods
- The candidate should be able to greet customers and also provide customer service
