  • The candidates should be have knowledge of all products in the department and adjacent departments and proactively seek knowledge on all products and services

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to follow Home Depot’s GET Model of customer service, including Greeting, Engaging, and Thanking the customer
  • The candidates should be able to actively seek customers throughout the store and escort them to appropriate merchandise, regardless of department
  • The candidates should be able to ask open-ended questions about the customer’s projects to determine their needs and level of expertise
  • The candidates should be able to promote services such as Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, and Pro Services, and recommend them to customers
  • The candidates should be able to discuss available options (good, better, best) and suggest related items or services outside their department
  • The candidates should be able to educate customers about the whole project and use the empowerment program when necessary to satisfy customers
  • The candidates should be able to execute daily stock maintenance, ensuring all products are signed, displayed, and clean
