Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 16 to 32 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time
Location: Legal, AB
Transportation information: Own vehicle
Work setting: School or educational institution/establishment and Rural area

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: First Aid Certificate, Security Guard License, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Child welfare check and Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should have a keen attention to detail
The work may involve a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Other Requirements:

The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrate excellent oral communication
The candidates should exhibit sound judgment in decision-making and be reliable in meeting job responsibilities
The candidates should be effective team players and maintain punctuality in their work

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs, providing support and ensuring a positive and inclusive experience
The candidates should be able to produce reports accurately and in a timely manner, summarizing relevant information
The candidates should be able to patrol assigned areas regularly, maintaining a vigilant presence to ensure the safety and security of the designated areas
