Shifts: Day, Night, Weekend, Shift, On Call
Transportation information: Own transportation and Valid driver’s licence
Type of experience: Corporate building security, Mobile surveillance/stakeouts, Mystery shopping, Preparation of information (evidence) reports, and Retail loss prevention
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Type of experience: Corporate building security, Mobile surveillance/stakeouts, Mystery shopping, Preparation of information (evidence) reports, and Retail loss prevention
Computer and technology knowledge: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles), Use of force training, BST1 and BST2 course certificate, First Aid Certificate, Provincial/Territorial Security Officer Certificate, Security Guard License, and Security Guard basic (pre-assignment) training program certificate
Security and safety: Basic security clearance and Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong attention to detail
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be accustomed to a fast-paced environment that involves sitting, standing for extended periods, and walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and have excellent oral communication abilities
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability in their responsibilities
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to produce reports and check the age identification of patrons
- The candidates should be able to enforce regulations, maintain order, resolve conflicts, and monitor establishment activities
- The candidates should be able to operate security control room equipment and patrol assigned areas
- The candidates should be able to perform security checks of passengers and luggage to prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments
