- The candidates should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- The candidates should be able to train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food, supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- The candidates should be able to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, clean kitchen and work areas
- The candidates should be able to manage kitchen operations
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
