Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- The candidates should meet the minimum time in position and performance management code requirements of V2 (or P3 in the previous system)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills and customer service skills
- The candidates should possess knowledge of all policies, procedures, and duties related to customer transactions, cash handling, the service desk, and the lot
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent decision-making ability and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to oversee work activity within their department and motivate the team to consistently demonstrate Customer FIRST behaviors
- The candidates should be able to drive awareness of current promotions by providing Front End associates with promotion locations to effectively direct customers and communicate store and Home Depot objectives to associates
- The candidates should be able to train and supervise Cashiers (including cashiers in all remote cashier locations) and Lot Associates
- The candidates should be able to set clear performance expectations and provide on-the-job feedback
- The candidates should be able to provide outstanding service to both external and internal customers by ensuring efficient Front End and Remote Cashier operations
- The candidates should be able to handle customer complaints in a professional manner
- The candidates should be able to provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards
- The candidates should be able to complete specified safety training, immediately correct hazards or unsafe conditions, report conditions to the Manager On Duty, and work safely to avoid endangering themselves, co-workers, vendors, or customers
