Salary: $29.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: Delta, BC
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to supply and empty bed pans, take patients’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse, and serve meal trays while feeding patients
- The candidates should be able to weigh, lift, turn and position patients, deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments, and make beds while maintaining patients’ rooms
- The candidates should be able to administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas, maintain inventory of supplies, and bathe, dress and groom patients
- The candidates should be able to transport patients between care facilities, transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers, and answer call signals to determine patients’ needs
- The candidates should be able to prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving and sterilizing operative areas and administer first aid in emergency situations
