Work setting: Telecommunications industry, Internet Service Provider (ISP)


Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a degree, certificate, or diploma
Student status: Full-time enrollment, Part-time enrollment – Student Jobs
Computer and technology knowledge: Internet

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be client focus, initiative, judgmental
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

  • The candidates should be able to communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and documenting problems experienced
  • The candidates should be able to consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • The candidates should be able to provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
  • The candidates should be able to collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
