Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should adhere to the company’s non-smoking policy
• The candidates should be physically fit to meet the demands of a physically demanding role
• The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure and delivering results
• The candidates should be able to lift weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required for the job

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate patience in handling challenging situations and interacting with others

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and travel with the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and organize activities such as games and outings for children
• The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, prepare infants and children for rest periods, and sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and change diapers for infants
• The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and appointments, tend to the emotional well-being of children, and help children with homework
