Target audience: School age (6 – 12 years) and Kindergarten age (4 – 5 years)
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials:Â CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise and care for children, and take children to and from school and to appointments
- The candidates should be able to tend to the emotional well-being of children
