Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 yearsÂ
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking
- The candidates should be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and they should be prepared for physically demanding tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability, exhibit reliability, and be organized
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, including administering medications and assisting clients with bathing and personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, such as walking, and feed or assist in feeding clients, while also providing companionship
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including shopping for food and household supplies and preparing and serving nutritious meals
