Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Student status: Full time enrollment, Part time enrollment
Security and safety: Criminal record check, reference required, and vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking, capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling, and comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and be willing to work overtime when required
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, accustomed to repetitive tasks, and able to stand for extended periods, engage in regular walking activities, and work under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality, demonstrate a strong client focus, and exhibit dependability
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, demonstrate flexibility, and show initiative
- The candidates should exercise good judgment, exhibit reliability, and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to care for pets, administer bedside and personal care, and administer medications
- The candidates should be able to assist clients in water (i.e., pool), assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household (in absence of the householder), change non-sterile dressings, and feed or assist in feeding
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, provide companionship, and provide personal care
