Position: Hotel executive housekeeper

Salary: $45,000 to $50,000 annually (To be negotiated) for40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Gatineau, QC
Shifts: Day, Weekend
Transportation information: Own transportation and Public transportation is available
Work setting: 101 – 200 rooms, Hotel, motel, and resort
Supervision: 11-15 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should have attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be non-smoking

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should prioritize client focus, exhibit dependability, and possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, take initiative, and exercise good judgment
  • The candidates should be organized, exhibit reliability, and be a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews, coordinate inspection of assigned areas, and supervise staff
  • The candidates should be able to ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met
  • The candidates should be able to supervise in-house laundry services, schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff, and coordinate dry cleaning and valet services
  • The candidates should be able to respond to complaints of guests
