Salary: $45,000 to $50,000 annually (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Gatineau, QC
Shifts: Day, Weekend
Transportation information: Own transportation, and Public transportation is available
Work setting: 101 – 200 rooms, and Hotel, motel, resort
Supervision: 11-15 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be non-smoking
  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should pay attention to detail and be able to stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should prioritize client focus and demonstrate dependability
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and exhibit flexibility in their approach to tasks
  • The candidates should show initiative in problem-solving and exercise good judgment in decision-making

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish and implement operational procedures for the housekeeping department, plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews, and coordinate inspection of assigned areas
  • The candidates should be able to supervise staff, ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, and supervise in-house laundry services
  • The candidates should be able to schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff, coordinate dry cleaning and valet services, and respond to complaints of guests
