Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure
  • The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be client focus, organized, initiative, flexible, and reliable
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, traveler’s cheques or room billings, describe menu items including daily specials for customers
  • The candidates should be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, advise on menu selections, balance cash, and record sales
  • The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, describe and advise on wine selection
  • The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, provide customer service
  • The candidates should be able to take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff
