Salary: $17.31 to $18.88 hourly (To be negotiated) for 16 to 20 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours
Transportation information: Own transportation
Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Uniform

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work effectively under tight deadlines and be capable of handling repetitive tasks efficiently
  • The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work and demonstrate attention to detail
  • The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as standing for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong client focus and demonstrate dependability
  • The candidates should exhibit flexibility in their approach to tasks and demonstrate reliability
  • The candidates should be team players and uphold strong values and ethics

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • The candidates should be able to make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock the linen closet
  • The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
  • The candidates should be able to provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings
  • The candidates should also be able to clean changing rooms and showers
