Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and handle physically demanding work
  • The candidates should be attentive to detail and be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed
  • The candidates should be able to combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout their work, and stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be client-focused, dependable, and reliable
  • The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication skills
  • The candidates should have excellent written communication skills and be team players
  • The candidates should value ethics

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • The candidates should be able to make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock the linen closet
  • The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • The candidates should be able to handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities
  • The candidates should be able to pick up debris, empty trash containers, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns
