Salary: $16.00 hourly for 30 to 48 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Charlottetown, PE
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning
Type of products: Bicycle, Marine pleasure craft and supplies, and Sports equipment and clothing

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have strong attention to detail, and be prepared for physically demanding work
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, be capable of weight handling, and handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be energetic, outgoing, and have a positive attitude
  • The candidates should be dependable, reliable, and honest
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide advice about merchandise, assist in the display of merchandise, and maintain sales records for inventory control
  • The candidates should be able to provide customer service, greet customers, and discuss type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease
