Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Bachelor, Masters or technical degree in, instructional design, digital communications, adult learning or other related area
Experience: Candidates should have experience in the corporate education and training industry

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with others and manage a creative development process, candidates should also possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, encompassing verbal, written, and presentation proficiency
  • The candidates should show a strong attention to detail, maintaining a reputation for precision, thoughtfulness, and a focus on delivering a consistent and high-quality learning experience
  • The candidates should also demonstrate the ability to leverage different tools and functionality of Brightspace (or other LMSs) to integrate interactivity, multimedia, LMS tools, and features
  • The candidates should work both remote and on-site

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be well-versed in instructional design principles and practices, including a deep understanding of adult learning principles, interactive and inclusive learning design, and online learning techniques
  • The candidates should have practical experience with and comprehension of Articulate Storyline, coupled with strong facilitation and presentation skills applicable at all levels
  • The candidates should have a strong visual design skillset, as evidenced by a portfolio or relevant experience
  • The candidates should have the ability to monitor progress and proactively address roadblocks in collaboration with the FUSION team
  • The candidates should have proficiency in working with learning management systems, specifically Brightspace, and e-portfolios is required. The ability to analyze information, consult with the FUSION project team, and organize priorities and time is crucial
  • The candidates should have proficiency in MS Office, experience with Articulate Storyline, Prezi, PowerPoint, or other content authoring tools

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop FUSION skills development modules aligned to the Skills for Success Framework using Articulate Storyline and support their implementation across several academic and industry partners
  • The candidates should be able to develop a project plan for the larger module production project, as well as the individual projects surrounding each of the modules
  • The candidates should be able to build FUSION Skills module content in Articulate Storyline based on the Skills for Success Framework, industry-leading adult learning principles, and instructional design best practices to enhance the learner experience and align with desired performance outcomes
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with the FUSION Implementation Lead, Instructional Designer Articulate Storyline, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Media Services, and other FUSION project members to clarify requirements for each FUSION skills module and follow through with a module creation approach that addresses the identified skills development needs
  • The candidates should be able to learn the process of development of the modules and be able to replicate it and ensure quality and a seamless learning experience is reflected in each module content
  • The candidates should be able to understand instructional design content and artifacts and translate them into Articulate Storyline code and provide relevant and necessary information and training for FUSION project partners to support project pilot roll-out
  • The candidates should be able to provide visual and design critiques to improve the usability and learning experience of module content, undertake Quality Assurance reviews to ensure modules are working and regularly meet with the FUSION project team
  • The candidates should be able to maintain up-to-date knowledge of current practices and emerging trends in instructional technology, EDI principles, assessment of learning effectiveness, and online learning
