Salary: $38.00 to $48.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time – Remote work available
Location: Canmore, AB
Shifts: Overtime, On Call, 08:30 to 17:00
Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer, and Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Commercial and Residential
Types of systems: Plumbing, cold water and drain lines
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Registered Apprenticeship certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Cleaning experience: Furnaces
Own tools/equipment: Tools
Credentials: Plumber Trade Certification, Plumber Red Seal Certificate, Gas Fitter Red Seal Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should possess the physical capability to meet demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and be effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to install, repair, and join domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
- The candidates should be able to test pipes for leaks and determining piping system requirements and sizing
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate proficiency in measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes as needed
